German Club Meetings
Regular Meetings:
German Club meets formally once a month for organizational purposes. These meetings almost always take place on campus, but will sometimes take place at the Essen Haus. Meetings are currently held on the first Thursday of every month at 8PM in the Memorial Union (TITU) just before Stammtisch starts at 8:30PM. We are in the process of planning alternative meetings for those who can't attend meetings on Thursdays.

Other Meetings:
Stammtisch meets every Thursday at around 8:30PM at the Memorial Union. When the weather is pleasant and warm, Stammtisch meets outside on the Memorial Union Terrace above the Hoofers Boathouse. If the weather is bad or cold, Stammtisch meets inside, in the Stiftskeller or the Paul Bunyan Room. Just listen for the people speaking German and look for a German Flag!
Filmabend takes place on a weekly basis during the Fall and Spring Semesters. There are two screenings per film per week. The first screening of the week takes place on Mondays at 7:00PM in room 114 Van Hise Hall. The second screening of the week takes place on Tuesdays at 7:00PM in room 104 Van Hise Hall.

Thementreffen (interest groups) meet once per month throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters. The specific room will be posted on the main page once it is known. Here is a list of the current Thementreffen:

Kaffeestunde meetings take place every week! The schedule for the Spring semester is posted on the German Department Events Calendar. Kaffeestunde always takes place from 4PM to 5PM in 832 Van Hise Hall with a few exceptions (see the German Department Events Calendar for details)
