CHRISTKINDLMARKT FIELD-TRIP INFO

Come with the German Club to the 13th Annual
Christkindlmarkt (German Christmas Market) in Chicago on
Saturday, December 6th!

GENERAL INFO:

DATE: Saturday, December 6th
DEPARTURE: Leave at 10AM from the Memorial Union.
RETURN:Drop off on campus at 9PM at the Memorial Union.
COST: $25 (Will likely be cheaper than this depending on participation, and you will be refunded the difference on December 6th on the bus.)
SIGNUP: Please sign up for the trip at any German Club meeting or event (such as Filmabend, Stammtisch, Thementreffen) and bring your money to us ASAP!!! Please contact us with any questions.

This is your chance to experience an authentic German Christmas market in the United States.  There are loads of vendor stands with German food, drinks, candy, imports from Germany, Christmas ornaments, live music, and much more! The time we spend in Chicago is yours to do as you wish, so you are welcome to walk around Chicago and visit places such as the Millennium Park, John Hancock Center, & the Sears tower as well.  We'll be traveling the same day as the ILC and other UW-Students are going down to Chicago, so you certainly won't be alone!

Everyone is welcome to come, regardless if you are a German Club member or not. You can even bring your friends if you'd like.
