COSTUME CONTEST CATEGORIES:
Wackiest Outfit - Most Creative Costume - Most German Costume

Prizes include: 2 $20 gift certificates to Asian Kitchen, 3 free sandwiches from Potbelly's, 2 $15 gift certificate to Amy's Cafe, 13 Bagels from Einstein Bro's, free subs from Jimmy John's, plus MORE prizes!

The first ~50 guests or so will receive either a ticket for free salsa and chips at Qdoba or free chips and a drink at Jimmy John's!

WHEN: This Thursday, January 31st 8PM - Midnight
WHERE: Memorial Union - Tripp Commons (2nd floor)
WHY: To celebrate the festival season of Karneval (other related names include Fasching, Fastnacht, Mardi Gras, etc...) which is celebrated in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and many other countries in Europe.
WHAT: The party will kick off with a 5-man tuba band known as "Big House" followed by a presentation on the history of Karneval. There will also be a live DJ playing some übercool dance music throughout the night! The highlight of the evening will be the costume contest which will have three categories and many prizes. There will be refreshments (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and free snacks.
